Negroni

The Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail believed to have been created in Florence around 1919. According to legend, Count Camillo Negroni asked bartender Fosco Scarselli to strengthen his Americano by replacing the soda water with gin, creating the drink’s distinctive combination of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. Traditionally served over ice with an orange peel or slice, the Negroni has become one of the world’s most iconic cocktails, celebrated for its perfect balance of bitter, sweet and herbal flavours.

Here’s how we did it:

Negroni

Equal Parts 30ml

Hendrick’s London Gin

Campari Bitter Aperitife

Martini Rosso, Sweet Vermouth

Add all into a shaker, double strain into a short rocks glass with fresh ice, express and garnish with an orange peel twist.
